If you don't know about The Ideal Network Club...

Here's the story:

  • Created by Author, Networking Expert, and Former Chamber of
    Commerce Director, Mary Kurek

  • The Club was developed by Mary while testing out (The Ideal Network
System) that was presented in her book, Who's Hiding in Your Address
    Book?

  • The system was tested by a pilot group of business women who all experienced amazing success.  These women were all members of the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce in Morehead City, NC.

  • Working together, Mary and the Chamber leaders put together the
"bones" of The Ideal Network Club - with the Carteret County Chamber
    serving as the model.

  • In January of 2008, the Carteret County Chamber launched their official
first Club with a "packed house."

  • Their initial Club added approximately $1,500 to their income (net) and
they have the potential of easily doubling that (or more) during the year.

  • Early comments from participants were astounding, proving that the
Club and programming is meeting the needs of members.

Read this article written by Julie Naegelen, Membership Director of the Carteret Chamber. (Pdf) about her Chamber's incredible experience
    with their Club.

The Club revolves around a series of 1 1/2 hour workshops that are
designed as activity-based and results-oriented sessions.
Participants often see successful connectons for publicity
opportunities and leads to potential clients almost immediately!  Mary
Kurek, Inc. provides programming content and support.

It meets the Chamber mission -- adds income to your
budget, and is a valuable recruitment and retention feature.

What makes The Ideal Network Club different
from other networking clubs:

It is...

# 1 -- Based on the unique new system from the book.  The
author/developer of the system provides the materials, direction,
Chamber training and support.

# 2 -- Action-oriented meetings focused on a specific goal that centers on
marketing and publicity opportunities.

# 3 -- Fun and challenging.  Members are expected to share, tap their own
creativity, and be willing to work with other members to achieve mutual
goals.

Check these quotes from happy Ideal Network Club Members:

“I thought I was there just for support, but I walked away with
some great tips; in fact, the information I learned from the
orientation meeting blew my socks off! I can’t wait for the
first session!”  T. Taylor, Interior Decorator

“I can’t believe I came away from the orientation meeting with so
much information; I feel like I’ve already gotten my money’s worth
and we haven’t even had the first session yet!”
Marika Carey of Taylor’s Creek Massage and Bodyworks, Beaufort,
NC

As the facilitator for the Carteret County Chamber's Ideal
Network Club, Debbie Godwin, from AmeriSuites, Pine Knoll Shores,
NC, was asked to conduct her own "Ideal Email Campaign" before
the session on the topic and report the results to the group.
Here are her comments:

“I couldn’t believe how quickly it started to work.  I sent out my
email and within 11 minutes, I already had two responses; within 4
hours time I had a response from six of the 16 e-mails I sent out!”
